put the sharp thing away

A lot is made about chimps that are able to utilize primitive tools, yet we never hear about the one's that pick up a stick and promptly poke themselves in the eye. Surprisingly, it happens enough there is a class distinction for this. Scientists generally refer to them as middle management, I just call them boss.

Is it time we find a word to replace "superiors" in the work place? There's a universal question for ya.

How about the ethically challenged?

The issue of ethics is a problem that plagues those who are not in charge as well. It's a disposable term used by many to label their own idea of what is right. Often used when they don't get their own way. Even though they should cast the mote from their own eye first.

Leaders aren't hired to lead positions. Warm bodies are. A sad reality that transcends the work place.

True that. I just meant the ethics of Rhetoric, better described as Ethos.

Yeah, I've never liked the word "superior" in this context. "Prick who signs my paycheck" seems much more accurate.
