I am really getting tired of hearing the phrase "it takes all kinds..."
Especially when uttered by someone who has observed someone else doing something really stupid. I got news for you...
It only takes one kind. The stupid kind.

People have gotten in the habit of abdicating responsibility for any part of the world around them.
I was actually assaulted at the opera for putting literally one finger on a little girl to get her attention and ask her to quiet down. The girl complied, but her mom (sitting three seats away with her grown-up friends, instead of next to her daughter) went ballistic.
Hey, it takes all kinds, right?
I'm concerned that people are being assaulted at operas.
